B8001 Skipness to Claonaig road Last updated: 12 Mar 2021 - 16:56 (originally posted: 12 Mar 2021 - 16:56)

There is currently a large crack in the B8001 Skipness to Claonaig road. The road remains open and we are progressing a temporary repair which will involve filling in the crack while we design a suitable long term solution.

The permanent solution is likely to involve tying the road together with specialist steelwork which have a reasonably long lead-in time, meaning the work is unlikely to be progressed before late summer/autumn.
