The road at Bishop's Glen, Dunoon has been closed due to safety issues. There is access only to the residents of the one house in the area. We will be carrying out investigations but no time limit available as yet. Parking will only be available at the bottom of the Glen as you enter on the right hand side.

Castle Street - Port Bannatyne on the Isle of Bute remains temporarily closed due to a dangerous building at No. 21 Castle Street.

Diversions are in place but the closure will restrict on-street parking.

The Council's Building Control Officers are working with others to have the safety concerns addressed as quickly as possible.

Updates on progress and the re-opening of the street will be provided as soon as they are available.

Some glass bin collections were unable to go ahead in Garelochead, Luss and Arrochar. These will be picked up Saturday 19th September 2020. Please ensure your bin is at the normal collection point by 06:00am Saturday.

Due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak and government instructions for workers and members of the public to reduce unnecessary exposure, a revised Summer timetable will be put in place on the Islay to Jura ferry for a temporary period. This will aid in minimising crew exposure in order for the vessel to continue service.
