We have been notified that SGN plan to close Station Road Rhu for emergency repairs. They will start work on Saturday 21/11/2020 and expect the closure to last approximately 7 days. The section effected will be from Torr Crescent to Laggary Road.

A building has collapsed on the A814 East Clyde Street between Sinclair Street and Maitland Street junctions. A closure is being implemented on this section. Diversion route: East Clyde Street - Maitland Street - East Princes Street - Sinclair Street.

Castle Street - Port Bannatyne on the Isle of Bute remains temporarily closed due to a dangerous building at No. 21 Castle Street.

Work is progressing by others to make the building safe, but the road will remain closed until the building is no longer a danger to the public.

Diversions are in place but the closure will restrict on-street parking.

The Council's Building Control Officers are working with others to have the safety concerns addressed as quickly as possible.

Updates on progress and the re-opening of the street will be provided as soon as they are available.
