Argyll Square traffic lights, Oban Last updated: 25 May 2023 - 12:45 (originally posted: 25 May 2023 - 12:45)

We are aware of an ongoing sequencing issue with the traffic lights at Argyll Square, Oban.

At present there is a shorter time between pressing the crossing button and the light changing red for the road users than we would like.

Electricians and engineers have both been on site and an upgrade is required of the existing lights. This is currently being progressed.

In the interest of pedestrian safety and maintaining a safe crossing space the lights will remain operational, we ask that road users are patient and allow more time for their journey
