East Clyde Street in Helensbugh closed to traffic and pedestrians Last updated: 20 Jun 2018 - 09:28 (originally posted: 31 May 2018 - 11:19)

East Clyde Street in Helensburgh remains closed to traffic and pedestrians in both directions between Sinclair Street and Maitland Street due to concerns over the condition of a vacant building. The closure has been in place from 30th May, and it will remain closed for the foreseeable future, while the council's Building Standards team continue to work with the agent of the owners of the dangerous building.

This decision has been taken to ensure that members of the public are kept safe while we work with the building's owners to reach a solution. Diversions will be in place. Please note that access to businesses on this stretch of East Clyde Street will be available from the Maitland Street end. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
