Why this is a good design

A simple narrow span, stone wall and hipped thatch roof detailing for the buildings in this development, combined with a tight formation of buildings creates the appearance of a historic cluster of buildings, perfect for the holiday market to whom it is designed to appeal.  The scale, form and detailing of the buildings all echo the historic style of rural buildings in northern Argyll to good effect.
