Full description: 

 
Facilities include two 18 hole putting greens and a kiosk.  The successful operator shall be responsible for the day to day running of the facility and will ensure that the putting areas are kept in a tidy condition and free from litter.  The Council shall however maintain all the grassed surfaces. 
 
The operator will be entitled to retain any income generated from the putting facility however it is a requirement that prices are set no higher than those stated within the Council’s Scale of Charges (currently £3.25 per adult/£1.70 per concession).
 
It will be a condition that the facility operates 7 days a week and will only be closed on very wet days should greens become flooded. 
 
The facility is to be used for putting and for no other purpose.

Please note that due to current restrictions, Argyll and Bute Council can only accept email offers.  
 
Any offers should be submitted before the closing date of Tuesday, 22nd March 2022 at 12 noon.  Any offers submitted after the closing date may not be considered.
 
Bidders should note the following information will be required: 
 
Offer of licence fee per week (in figures and words); N.B Rent is to be payable 4 weekly in advance on entry.
 
  • Duration of licence being sought;
  • Bidding party’s name; 
  • Evidence of Financial status; N.B The Council may request agents to carry out a credit check.  The Council may not consider offers from parties in circumstances where parties hold outstanding debt with the Council. 
  • Any other relevant information; and 
  • Legal representative details if contracted.

Any offers received will be the subject of a report to the Departmental Management Team, Local Area Committee or Full Council.
