Why this is a good design

The architects has cleverly combined a modest scale of a traditional building, with a long rectangular footprint and narrow span, with striking modern features such as the cantilevered glazed lounge and simple smooth rendered entrance feature.  The combination of building elements all hold together, to deliver an interesting modern house in a stunning setting overlooking the sea.
