Members of the public are being invited to have their say on the future of Ashfield and Ardchattan primary schools.
Meetings will be held next week to enable people to access information about both schools and give their opinions.
Ardchattan Primary School was mothballed in 2014, with Argyll and Bute Council agreeing that if there were no registered pupils by the close of the registration period for session 2016/17 they would formally consult on the future of the school.
In 2016 the council also agreed to mothball Ashfield Primary School if there were no registered pupils by the start of session 2017/18 and to start consultation on the future of the school through the statutory process.
No pupils have been registered at either school and meetings are therefore being held as part of a pre- consultation under the terms of the Schools (Consultation) (Scotland) Act 2010.
The drop-in meetings will take place in each school as follows:
Ardchattan Primary School - Wednesday 28th March from 2.30pm until 7pm.
Ashfield Primary School - Thursday 29th March from 2.30pm until 7pm.
