Did you know that Argyll and Bute Council’s website not only contains lots of useful information for our residents, businesses and visitors - it also offers a wide range of online services that make contacting the council quick and convenient.
By logging on to our website you can now make secure online payments for:
-
Council Tax
-
School meals
-
Parking tickets
-
Non domestic rates
-
Planning applications
Our “Pay It” service saw over £3 million payments being made online by customers last year.
The website also has many “Request It” and “Report It” services such as allowing people to report lighting and road faults; tell us if you’ve moved house; apply for a skip or scaffolding arrangement; report a domestic pest problem; make and comment on planning applications; and check your bin collection dates. You can also order a new bin, change the name of your house or request a copy birth certificate.
Visitors to the council website can also sign up to MyAccount. This service allows you to access personalised web services and information relevant to where you live, and lets you track requests made on the website. It even fills in online forms with your contact details to save you time.
So, why wait in a phone queue or stand in line at a service point when nearly everything you need to contact the council can be done online? To see all the services we now offer online, visit www.argyll-bute.gov.uk
