Dunoon town centre will soon see big changes thanks to the Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme (CARS), which is officially launched on Saturday, 16 September at Dunoon Burgh Hall.

Between noon and 4.00pm, local people and anyone interested will be able to drop-in and find out about the plans, which are set to breathe new life into the town centre by regenerating buildings in Argyll Street, between the Queens Hall and Burgh Hall.

The Dunoon CARS officer will be available to answer any questions on the ambitious town centre project, which is jointly funded by Historic Environment Scotland and the council. The initiative will also provide assistance for traditional skills training and engagement with the community.

A CARS advice clinic is also taking place in Dunoon Burgh Hall each day next week (Monday, 18th to Friday, 22 September) between 10 am and 4pm.
