Argyll and Bute Council is hosting events in Dunoon and Bute this month to enable members of the public to get information and advice on housing issues.

The drop in sessions are being held to celebrate Scottish Housing Day and will take place in various towns across the area.

The Council’s Policy Lead for Housing, Councillor Robin Currie said: “These drop in events are a great way for people to get information and advice on a wide variety of housing issues.

“Whether they want to find out how to apply for a house, want to know which grants are available or want to discuss the condition of their existing property, there will be someone on hand who will be more than happy to help.

“It’s important that events like these take place in our communities to ensure that people are given the opportunity to raise any issues they may have and to find out ways that we can help them”.

The housing surgeries in Dunoon and Bute will take place as follows:

Dunoon: Tuesday 19th September, 11am - 3pm, Foyer, Dunoon Hospital.

Bute: Thursday 21st September, 11am - 3pm, Fyne Homes Board Room, 11 Victoria Street, Rothesay.
