Argyll and Bute Council is holding a public consultation event in Cardross to gather the views of local residents, businesses and other parties with an interest in the proposed route of the Helensburgh – Cardross – Dumbarton Cycleway through Cardross.

The event will take place on Monday, 19 June 2017 in Geilston Hall, Main Road, Cardross between 2pm and 7pm, to allow as many people as possible to attend.

The council has secured funding to construct the section of the cycleway between Cardross Station and the west side of the village through Cardross Park, and has developed options for a safe off-road walking and cycling route. The construction of this section will complete the Cycleway through Cardross.

Locals are invited to drop-in to the event any time between 2pm and 7pm to have their say, which will allow the council to consult with landowners on the route to be constructed.
