As part of Argyll and Bute Council’s Bridge Strengthening Programme, essential work will commence on the Duck Bay South Access Road Bridge on Monday, 20th February 2017.

Part of the bridge has deteriorated over time - work is expected to be completed by Friday, 31 March 2017 and falls within a quiet period for tourism in the area.

A section of the U023 Road, near Loch Lomond, between the mini roundabout at the entrance to Cameron House, and the entrance to the public car park opposite Duck Bay Hotel, will be closed. The pedestrian footpath and national cycle path will remain open.

There will be no through road. Traffic management measures will be in place for the duration of the works, to minimise disruption to local traffic and businesses. Drivers should follow the signposted diversions into each hotel.

Vehicles travelling to Cameron House Hotel  should enter  from the south access between the U023 and the A82. Vehicles travelling to Duck Bay Marina, The Cruin, and the Water’s Edge B&B should enter via the north access between U023 road and the A82 near the Arden roundabout.

We apologise, in advance, for any inconvenience this may cause.
