A KEY tender for homeless services is due to be issued later this year – and Argyll and Bute Council is keen to speak with companies who are interested in becoming a local authority supplier.
The tender, worth around £280,000 per year, is for the provision of serviced accommodation for homeless households in Dunoon and Helensburgh, and the council is hosting special events for potential suppliers in each town next week.
Interested companies are encouraged to come along and find out more about this particular tender opportunity as well as the procurement process. Council buyers will be available to answer questions. The Business Gateway team will also be on hand to outline the free support available for businesses to help them enhance their tendering skills. As well as question and answer sessions the events also offer networking opportunities and individual discussions.
The Helensburgh event takes place on Tuesday 3rd February at the town’s Victoria Halls from 10.30am to 1pm. The team will come to the Queen’s Hall, Dunoon on Friday 6th January.
