HAS your home or business been affected by flooding? Argyll and Bute Local Resilience Partnership is encouraging local residents and business owners to come along to an information event in Oban on Friday 20th February.
The Community and Business Resilience sessions are open to people, community groups and companies and will offer information and assistance on a range of topics – from flood protection to insurance claims. Various agencies will be on hand on the day, including the Scottish Flood Forum and the Scottish Business Resilience Centre.
The events are part of the Argyll and Bute Local Resilience Partnership’s work to ensure that the area’s communities are well prepared and able to respond and recover from any unexpected challenges that they may face.
In Campbeltown, come along to the British Red Cross Hall on Monday 23rd February between 10am and 3pm. On Wednesday 25th February, it's Rothesay's turn - drop into the Pavilion Cafe, again between 10am and 3pm. Finally, on Friday 27th February, the team will be in Helensburgh's United Reform Church Hall, West Princes Street, from 2.30pm until 4.30pm.
