Argyll and Bute Council and Local Energy Scotland are offering people information and advice about local community renewable energy projects.
The event which will take place on 9 September 2015 will give those from community groups and anyone with an interest in the development of community owned renewables advice on issues surrounding renewable energy in local areas. People who are already involved in local community renewable projects are encouraged to join the meeting to contribute to the discussion.
Those involved will get the chance to learn from communities who have already invested in community renewables as well as advice on key issues such as funding, grid connections, community development and planning.
The meeting will take place at Argyll and Bute Council’s Council Chambers and will run from 10am-3:30pm, with registration at 9:30am.
Places are limited to 1-2 people per organisation and must be booked in advance.
