Have your say – register to vote in the general election

There are only a few weeks left to register to vote in the UK Parliamentary (General ) Election.

The election takes place on Thursday 7th May 2015. To vote you have to be aged 18 or over and registered to vote by Monday 20th April 2015.

The deadline for new postal vote and postal proxy applications and for changes to existing postal or proxy votes is Tuesday 21st April 2015.

Registering is quick and easy – you can do it online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote or call FREEPHONE on 0800 980 0470.
