By-election for Oban North and Lorn ward

ARGYLL and Bute Council is holding a by-election for one seat in its Oban North and Lorn ward on Thursday 17th July 2014.

Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm on Thursday 17th July. A full list of places where you can vote is available on the council’s website at www.argyll-bute.gov.uk/oban-north-and-lorn-election-17-july-2014

On the night of the election and after the polls close at 10pm, counting of votes will start at 10.30pm in the Corran Halls, Oban. The results will be published on Argyll and Bute Council’s website as soon as possible.

The Oban North and Lorn ward includes the areas surrounding Oban from Kilmelford to Bridge of Orchy, and has an electorate of just over 8,000 people.
