Oban Airport Exercise - Sat 27 April

An exercise will be carried out this Saturday, 27 April, at Oban Airport between 10.30 am and 1.00pm.It will test the response of the emergency services and support agencies and volunteer groups in case of an aircraft accident at the airport. You will see blue lights and hear sirens at the airport but it will all be part of the exercise. This takes place every two years and is being done to meet the requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the Civil Contingencies Act 2005.
