The Isle of Luing Community Trust has been awarded £72,256 by the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund. The award is to make the community’s new Atlantic Islands Centre in Cullipool energy efficient.
Commenting on the news, Argyll and Bute Council’s Lead Councillor for Communities Louise Glen-Lee said, “The Atlantic Islands Centre is an ambitious project being progressed by a group of enthusiastic and determined individuals with the benefit of their community at heart.
“I congratulate them on this achievement which will benefit their community as part of the Atlantic Islands Centre project and ensure the centre will be a low maintenance building with a low carbon footprint.”
