The tender documents for the flagship Helensburgh CHORD project are to be re-issued next week.

The tender will be issued on Monday (April 2), with a return deadline of Tuesday, May 8. It is hoped that the successful tenderer will be able to start work in the town in early July.

Earlier this month, the council decided not to continue with the first procurement procedure regarding the contract for the Helensburgh town centre and West Bay public realm works.

However, the re-issueof the tender documents just over two weeks later means there will be a minimal delay in getting the project off the ground.
