A PLANNING application for a single wind turbine on the isle of Coll will be determined at a discretionary hearing next month.

Members of Argyll and Bute Council’s Planning, Protective Services and Licensing Committee met on Wednesday 15 August to consider the application for the 77m to blade tip turbine at Gallanach Farm, Coll. Councillors agreed with planning officers’ recommendations that a hearing should be convened due to the significant level of public interest in the proposals.

The hearing will take place on Thursday 13 September at 1pm in the community hall, An Cridhe.
