At a meeting of Argyll and Bute Council on Thursday 23 August members agreed the following changes to the remits of some Lead Councillors and Deputes.

 Councillor John Semple will be Lead Councillor for Environment, Development and Infrastructure (including roads and amenity services). Depute Lead Councillor will be Councillor Robert G MacIntyre.

 Councillor Donald Kelly will be Lead Councillor for Renewables and Tourism. Depute Lead Councillor will be Councillor Louise Glen-Lee.

These changes were agreed by the council and will take effect immediately.
