OLI Area Committee thanks those involved in Royal Visit

 The Oban, Lorn and the Isles Area Committee are thanking all those who supported the Royal Visit to Oban on Tuesday 12th July.

The Committee would also like to thank all those who organised and took part in the impressive grand parade, those involved celebration lunch and presentations and the business interests who made a contribution to the general appearance of the town on this very special day.

Chair, Councillor Duncan MacIntyre said "It was a fitting tribute to our towns 200th birthday and was a great success. Finally, to the people of Oban –a very sincere thank you for just being there on the day."
