All parents want to give their children the very best start in life.  But did you know that by simply having fun with them you can make them a smart cookie?

The Scottish Government’s PLAY, TALK, READ campaign encourages parents and carers to incorporate playing, talking and reading in to their daily routines and have fun from day one!

Just by playing, talking and reading with our children more often, we can have a huge impact on their future learning, behaviour and chances in life.  Your child’s brain is growing at such an amazing rate that by three years old it will be three quarters of its adult size.  So the more you Play, Talk, Read with them when they are young the better they’ll be at learning new skills when they grow up.
