Come along to a drop in event on August 23 and have your say on the exciting projects taking place in Campbeltown just now.
Project team managers and members from Argyll and Bute Council and partners will be in Campbeltown’s Town Hall on Tuesday 23 August from 11am – 7pm to discuss the Campbeltown CHORD project.
The drop in session is a chance for you to hear first-hand about the biggest financial investment in the town for a generation.
The subjects up for discussion include the Kinloch Road regeneration; the Kintyre Renewables Hub; ACHA developments; Campbeltown Berthing Facility; town centre regeneration; renovation of the Royal Hotel and the new all weather pitch.
Councillor Rory Colville, Chair of the Campbeltown CHORD project board encouraged members of the public to go along to the event: “This is a very exciting time for the people of Campbeltown and the surrounding area, with a number of major projects in the pipeline.
“These consultation events are organised to give members of the public the chance to come along and see where we are with the plans, speak to the people who will be making them a reality and letting us know what they think of them.
“I would urge all those with an interest in Campbeltown’s future to drop in on August 23 and get an update on our ambitious proposals for the town.”
