Argyll and Bute Council website can now be used for much more

Argyll and Bute Council is making life easier for people living in the area by adding several new features to the website, www.argyll-bute.gov.uk . It’s now possible to sign up to pay your council tax by direct debit. All roads and lighting faults can be reported online as well as fly tipping and dog fouling. You can request recycling or wheelie bins and pay any parking fines.

 

If you log a request on the website you will now be able to track it and check progress on the website. These new features will make it much more convenient and quicker for you to get things done. More features are being added all the time.

 

Leader of Argyll and Bute Council and Spokesperson for Leadership and the Economy, Councillor Dick Walsh said “More people than ever before are using the website and we want even more to log on. It’s the easiest and quickest way to sign up to make council tax payments by direct debit. All roads and lighting faults can be reported online as well which means we can get look into any problems much faster. “
