The Council gave consideration to a report
proposing the award of the Freedom of Argyll and Bute to Donald MacMillan BEM
in recognition of his many years’ service to the community, through his role as
Councillor and also his service to other organisations.
Decision
The
Council –
1.
agreed to award the Freedom of
Argyll and Bute to Donald MacMillan, BEM in recognition of his many years of
service to Argyll and Bute as a local councillor and to other organisations
serving the community;
2.
requested the Executive Director
with responsibility for Legal and Regulatory Support to make the necessary
arrangements.
