Report by Section 95 Officer

The Committee gave consideration to a report which provided an overview of the unaudited annual accounts for 2024-2025. The report also provided a summary of the significant movements from 2023-24.

Decision

The Audit and Scrutiny Committee:

1.    Considered the Unaudited Annual Accounts for the year ending 31 March 2025 and agreed that these are submitted to Council; and

2.    Noted that the Section 95 Officer, in discharging their responsibilities under the Local Authority Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2014, will sign the Statement of Responsibilities and the Balance Sheet contained therein, and submit the annual accounts to the auditor by the statutory deadline of 30 June 2025.
