Having noted the absence of Councillor McCabe, the Committee Manager advised that the Rothesay Common Good Fund meeting was inquorate.

The Committee Manager further advised that following a decision made by the Council at the meeting on Thursday 21 April 2016, a delegation had been given to the Executive Director with responsibility for Legal and Regulatory Support (or his representative) to determine applications in consultation with Ward 8 Members, and the decision recorded is on that basis

The Trustees agreed to appoint Councillor Reeni Kennedy-Boyle as Chair for the meeting.

There were no apologies for absence.

There were no declarations of interest intimated.

The Minutes of the meeting of the Rothesay Common Good Fund, held on Tuesday 4 June 2024 were approved as a correct record.

The Rothesay Common Good Fund resolved in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 to exclude the press and public for the following item of business on the grounds that it was likely to involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 6 of Part 1 of Schedule 7A to the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973.

The Trustees gave consideration to an application from the Story Wagon Community Interest Company.

Decision

The Trustees agreed to award an amount of £2,000 to the Story Wagon Community Interest Company, subject to confirmation that all licensing requirements had been secured to the satisfaction of the Committee Manager.
