Apologies

Minutes:

Apologies for absence were intimated by Councillor Donald Kelly.

 

Having noted the absence of Councillor Kelly, the Area Governance Manager advised that the Campbeltown Common Good Fund meeting was inquorate and as such was a consultation meeting. 

 

The Area Governance Manager further advised the remaining Ward 1 Members that following a decision made by the Council at the meeting on Thursday 25 June 2015, a delegation had been given to the Executive Director of Customer Services (or his representative) to determine applications in consultation with Ward 1 Members, and the decisions recorded are on that basis.

There were no declarations of interest.

Financial Statement - Accountant

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to a report detailing the current position of the investment transaction activity for the period. 

 

Decision:

 

Members agreed to note the statement and balance of income available.

Common Good Fund Applications (New)

Campbeltown Community Business Ltd

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to the application from Campbeltown Community Business Ltd.

 

Decision:

 

The Executive Director of Customer Services determined by his representative, to agree to award the group £1,000.00 and advised that this was only to be drawn down once the confirmation was given on the success of obtaining the required match funding for the project. 

5.

Any Other Business

Minutes:

The Area Governance Manager advised that a late application in the name of South Kintyre Sports Council had been received.  She advised that it was up to Trustees to determine whether they would give consideration to the application. 

 

Decision:

 

Having agreed to give consideration to the application, Members agreed to award the group £200.00.

The next meeting of the Common Good Fund will take place on Wednesday, 7 December 2016 within the Council Chambers, Kilmory, Lochgilphead, time to be confirmed.
