Apologies were intimated on behalf of Councillor Tommy MacPherson and Mr David McGregor of Simmers and Company.

Having noted the absence of Councillor MacPherson, the Committee Manager advised that the Campbeltown Common Good Fund meeting was inquorate and as such was a consultation meeting.

The Committee Manager further advised the remaining Trustees that following a decision made by the Council at the meeting on Thursday, 19^th May 2022, a delegation had been given to the Executive Director with responsibility for Legal and Regulatory Support (or his representative) to determine applications in consultation with Ward 1 Members, and the decision are recorded on that basis.

There were no Declarations of Interest intimated.

The Minutes of the Campbeltown Common Good Fund held on Wednesday 2^nd March 2022 were approved as a correct record.

It was agreed that Councillor John Armour would be appointed as Chair of the Campbeltown Common Good Fund.

The Trustees resolved in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 to exclude the press and public for the following items of business on the grounds that it was likely to involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 6 respectively of Part 1 of Schedule 7A to the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973.

In the absence of David McGregor, Committee Manager, Shona Barton gave the Trustees a verbal update on the current finances.

The Draft Accounts for the year end 31^st March 2022 were presented.

Decision

The Trustees noted the draft accounts.

The Trustees considered the application submitted by Campbeltown Brass Band to assist with costs for attendance at the National Brass Band Finals.

Decision

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to award the Campbeltown Brass Band the full amount of £1,500.

The Trustees considered the application Submitted by Campbeltown & District Junior Football Association to cover the costs for provision of new training kit and equipment.

Decision

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to award the full amount of £2,500.

The Trustees considered the application submitted by Keeping it Local CIC to assist in the set-up of “Preloved 2 Reloved Campbeltown and Surrounding Areas”.

Decision

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to award the full amount of £2,000.

The Trustees considered the application submitted by Mull of Kintyre Music and Arts Festival to assist with the costs of running the Mull of Kintyre Music Festival in 2022.

Decision

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to award the full amount of £6,000.

The Trustees gave consideration to the status of end of project monitoring form in respect of Campbeltown Community Council.

Decision

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to note the end of project monitoring form received.

It was noted that the next meeting of Campbeltown Common Good Fund will take place on Wednesday, 7^th September 2022.
