Draft Annual Accounts

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to a report detailing the draft annual accounts for the financial year 2019-2020. The Committee Manager agreed to seek clarity around the level of fixed assets and provide feedback to Trustees by e-mail.

 

Decision

 

Members agreed to approve the Campbeltown Common Good Fund annual accounts.

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to a report detailing the current position of the investment transaction activity for the current period.

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to note the statement and balance of income available.

Common Good Fund Applications

Campbeltown Community Business Ltd

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to the application from Campbeltown Community Business Ltd requesting that funds previously awarded in principle for the costs of a new boiler be used instead to assist with running costs in light of the Covid19 pandemic.

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed:

 

1.    to award the group £2,000.00 for general running costs; and

2.    that any further funding requests for the costs of a new boiler would require a new application to be submitted.

Supporting Homeless in Kintyre

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to the application from Supporting Homeless in Kintyre for funding to provide starter packs for the homeless in Kintyre.

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to award the group £500.00.

Kintyre Amenity Trust

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to the application from Kintyre Amenity Trust for funding to install interpretation boards.

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to award the group £1,000.00 on the basis that the signage obtains all necessary planning permissions and is agreed in consultation with the relevant Council officer to ensure that it is in keeping with other signage in the Campbeltown area.

Mull of Kintyre Music and Arts Festival 2020

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to an application from Mull of Kintyre Music and Arts Festival 2020. It was noted that the Mull of Kintyre Music and Arts Festival had also applied to the Council’s Strategic Events and Festivals Fund and the outcome of this application would be known on 11th June 2020. 

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to defer the application to a special meeting of the Campbeltown Common Good Fund to be held on 12th June 2020, when the outcome of outstanding applications to other funding streams would be known.

The Kintyre Way

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to the application from The Kintyre Way for funding to improve signage promoting The Kintyre Way.

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to award the group £2,000.00 on the basis that the signage obtains all necessary planning permissions and is agreed in consultation with the relevant Council officer to ensure that it is in keeping with other signage in the Campbeltown area.
