Campbeltown Former Pupils AFC

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to the application from Campbeltown Former Pupils AFC for funding to assist with the purchase of a ride-on grass cutter.

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to award the group £3,000.00.

End of Project Monitoring

Forms Received

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to the status of end of project monitoring forms in respect of successful applications to the Campbeltown Common Good Fund. Discussion took place around ways in which organisations could be encouraged to return end of project monitoring forms.

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed:

 

1.    to note the end of project monitoring forms received;

2.    that information within the application pack for the Campbeltown Common Good Fund advising that non-return of the end of project monitoring form could impact future applications be highlighted in bold; and

3.    that a request to update relevant officers of any changes in contacts or e-mail addresses for end of project monitoring forms be included in award letters.

Youth Impact

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to an e-mail from Youth Impact requesting a funding extension to the award from the Campbeltown Common Good Fund in December 2019, due to the Covid19 pandemic and resulting difficulties in completing the project within the original timescale.

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to a funding extension for the project.

Friends of Castlehill Primary School

Minutes:

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund gave consideration to an e-mail from Friends of Castlehill Primary School advising that the award from the Fund in March 2020 was unable to be used for its intended purpose of a school trip to Edinburgh due to the impacts of the Covid19 pandemic.

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to request that the award be refunded and that further applications from the group be welcomed for any future planned trips.

Shopper Aide

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to an e-mail from Shopper Aide regarding their award from the Campbeltown Common Good Fund in March 2020, noting that the Covid19 pandemic had left them unable to utilise the award funding for its intended purpose within the original timescale.

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to a funding extension for the project.

Campbeltown Common Good Fund Awards Impacted by Covid19

Minutes:

Members discussed the effects of Covid19 on previous applications to the Fund and the likelihood that many projects for which awards had been made would struggle to complete their projects within the original project timescales.

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed:

 

1.    that requests for funding extensions in light of the Covid19 pandemic could be circulated to Members by e-mail for agreement where required;

2.    that if a funding extension was requested and further information or discussion was required by Members in order to make a decision around this a Special meeting of the Campbeltown Common Good Fund would be convened for this purpose; and

3.    that any funding extensions agreed by Members by e-mail would be detailed in a report which would be brought to the next available Campbeltown Common Good Fund meeting for audit purposes.

The next meeting of the Campbeltown Common Good Fund is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 2 December 2020, within Lochgilphead Community Centre, Lochgilphead or via Skype for Business, to be confirmed at a later date.
