Mull of Kintyre Music and Arts Festival 2020 Minutes: Members
gave consideration to an application from Mull of Kintyre Music and Arts
Festival 2020 for funding to assist with the costs incurred in planning the
festival in light of the Covid19 pandemic and subsequent cancellation of the
event. This application had been deferred until the outcome of the groups
application to the Council’s Strategic Events and Festivals Fund was known. The Trustees noted that the Council’s Business
Continuity Committee had agreed, at the meeting held on 11th June
2020, to award the group up to 75% of their original grant award for costs that
had already been confirmed. Decision The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to
award the group up to £6,000 to cover the shortfall of costs incurred after
confirmation of the amount to be awarded from the Council’s Strategic Events
and Festivals Fund. |
