Minutes:

Apologies for absence were intimated on behalf of Councillor Rory Colville.

 

Having noted the absence of Councillor Colville, the Committee Manager advised that the Campbeltown Common Good Fund was inquorate and as such was a consultation meeting.

 

The Committee Manager further advised the remaining Ward 1 Members that following a decision made by the Council at the meeting on Thursday 25 June 2015, a delegation had been given by the Executive Director of Customer Services (or his representative) to determine applications in consultation with Ward 1 Members, and the decision recorded is on that basis.

Members gave consideration to a report detailing the current position of the investment transaction activity for the current period.

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to note the statement and balance of income available.

Friends of Castlehill Primary School

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to the application from Friends of Castlehill Primary School for funding to assist with the costs of a Primary 7 school trip to Edinburgh.

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to award the group £200.00.

Campbeltown Community Business Ltd

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to the application from Campbeltown Community Business Ltd for funding for a replacement gas boiler to be purchased and installed within Campbeltown Picture House.

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to award the group £2,000.00, only to be drawn down once it is confirmed that the remaining funding for the project has been secured.

Dalintober School Parent Teacher Association

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to the application from Dalintober School Parent Teacher Association for funding to assist with the costs of a school trip to Ardentinny Centre. 

 

Decision

 

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to award the group £1,020.00.

Minutes:

Members gave consideration to the application from Shopper-Aide Ltd for funding to assist with the costs of a support worker to assist with Elderberries club.

The Campbeltown Common Good Fund agreed to award the group £4,992.00.
