Oban Common Good Fund – 29th June 2017

Minutes:

The Minute of the previous Oban Common Good Fund held on 29th June 2017 was approved as a correct record.

 

In regard to page 3, item 11, the Area Governance Manager confirmed that the application had been updated with the following wording – “We would encourage those who benefit from the Oban Common Good Fund to acknowledge this support in any publicity material or event”.

Minutes:

The Trustees considered an application from Oban Winter Festival.

 

Decision

 

The Trustees agreed that the application did not meet the criteria of the Oban Common Good Fund therefore no award was made.

Oban Communities Trust

Minutes:

The Trustees considered an application from Oban Communities Trust.

 

Decision

 

The Trustees agreed to award £5,000 to Oban Communities Trust for the setting up of an archiving project and towards a youth heritage project to benefit the youth community of the whole of Oban.
