The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting and introductions were made.  He explained that no person present would be entitled to speak other than the Members of the Local Review Body (LRB) and Mr Reppke who would provide procedural advice if required.

 

He advised that his first task would be to establish if the Members of the LRB felt that they had sufficient information before them to come to a decision on the Review.

 

Councillor Devon explained that she was of a view that with the benefit of a site visit and the further information before them from the Planning Department and the Roads Department she felt she was in a position to come to a decision.  Councillor MacMillan said he was of the same opinion.

 

The Chair stated that he too was of the view that the site visit and further information had been beneficial and having considered the information submitted following the site visit he felt that he was able to come to a decision.

 

Decision

 

The Argyll and Bute Local Review Body considered a motion put forward by the Chair and seconded by Councillor Devon and unanimously agreed;

 

that condition 4 of the original consent be amended and be replaced by the proposed  new wording set out in the supplementary report from thePlanning Department attached to the papers for this meeting and otherwise confirmed all other conditions on the original grant of consent on the basis that the amended condition provided a level of improvement to the access commensurate with the scale of the development and to note that the remainder of the road will be improved as other consents are implemented.
