Minutes:

The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting and introductions were made.  He explained that no person present would be entitled to speak other than the Members of the Local Review Body (LRB) and Mr Reppke who would provide procedural advice if required.

He advised that his first task would be to establish if the Members of the Local Review Body (LRB) felt that they had sufficient information before them to come to a decision on the Review.

Councillor Devon advised that although the paperwork provided to them had been very informative and had contained a lot of in depth information, she felt that a site visit would be of value.  Councillor Blair agreed and added that it would be advantageous to make an appropriate decision.  Councillor Kinniburgh added that he was of a similar opinion and that he would like to carry out a site visit to get a feeling for the site and how the proposed development would fit in to the site.

Councillor Kinniburgh added that it would be useful to get clarification from planning whether the opaque window referred to in the report of handling was a bathroom window.  Mr Reppke advised that this question could be asked during the site visit if Members did not want to request it as a further written submission.

Decision

The Argyll and Bute Local Review Body agreed to invite the applicant, planning authority, roads authority and interested parties to attend an accompanied site visit on 19 December 2017 to view the site and how the proposed development would fit into the site; and thereafter reconvene the meeting at a suitable venue close to the site.
