The Panel resolved in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 to exclude the press and public for the following items of business on the grounds that it was likely to involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Schedule 7A to the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973.

To short leet applications for interview

The Appointments Panel met to short-leet applicants as part of the Head of Service Recruitment Process. 

Decision

The Appointments Panel agreed that there was an insufficient leet to proceed to selection at this time.

The Appointments Panel agreed that the process would not move forward to selection at this time and therefore this item was not considered.

As there will be no Appointments Panel arranged, an alternative approach to filling the post on an interim basis was discussed. 

There was no other competent business discussed.
