The Committee resolved in terms of Section 50(A)(4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 to exclude the public for the following item of business on the grounds that it was likely to involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 7A to the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973.

The appellants requested that the Appeals Committee only consider the four heads of grievance described under home care matters at page 45 of the hearing pack.

Evidence was heard on behalf of the employees and employer.

Decision

That the grounds of appeal in each of the four grievances was not substantiated and the appeal be not upheld.
