Presentation by Kenny McNab, Clyde Fisherman’s Association

Kenny McNab of Clyde Fisherman’s Association provided the group with an informative presentation in relation to the work of the Clyde Fisherman’s Association. Mr McNab discussed the history of the Clyde Fisherman’s Association, the current staffing structure, the diverse range of work being carried out by the Association and the challenges that the Association is facing currently.

Mr McNab advised that in future he will no longer be acting as Chairman for the Clyde Fisherman’s Association and will be replaced by Tommy Finn but noted that he will remain the Chairman for the Clyde Fisherman’s Trust.

The Chair thanked Mr McNab for his presentation and invited Mr McNab to a later meeting to discuss the impact of Brexit on the fishing community when this is better known.
