The group gave consideration to a
presentation from Robin Patel outlining the development of the East Cowal
Heritage Outdoors (ECHO) Trail and its vision for promoting and evolving
tourism resources in the area as well as encouraging community involvement in
the project.
Discussion was held around the
need for linkage into existing projects, local community groups and Community
Councils.
Mr Patel agreed to collate a list
of local resources including CPG Members, local projects and relevant Groups on
Bute. The Senior Area Committee Assistant agreed to provide Mr Patel with
contact details.
Decision
The Bute and Cowal Area Community
Planning Group agreed to note the information provided.
