Update by Community Development Officer

The group gave consideration to a report providing further information on the difficulties faced by young people and families who reside in villages along the A816 in accessing extra-curricular activities which are predominantly based in larger towns. 

Decision:

The Mid Argyll, Kintyre and the Islands Area Community Planning Group agreed to the formation of a Steering Group, supported by the Community Development Officer comprising of representatives of Craignish and Dunadd Community Councils; the local Parent Teacher Associations and local stakeholders to address issues with feedback to be provided to a future meeting of the ACPG.
