The Community Planning Officer took the Group through a report which provided feedback on the discussions that took place at the Community Planning Partnership Management Committee on 30th September 2015 with particular emphasis on matters raised by Area Community Planning Groups.
Decision
The Group noted the report and Mr Bain, Head Teacher of Oban High School, agreed to have all future OLI Community Planning Group meeting dates posted on Oban High School’s Facebook page.

The Area Governance Manager took the Group through a report which provided feedback on the discussions that took place at the Community Planning Partnership Management Committee on 17th June 2015.
Decision
The Group:
1. Noted the highlights of the CPP Management Committee meeting and agreed to distribute these further to community contacts and other local organisations; and
2. Noted the response set out in section 4 and requested that the Area Governance Manager, Shirley MacLeod, take any further comment to the CPP’s Management Committee meeting on 30 September 2015.

The Area Governance Manager took the Group through a report which provided feedback on the discussions that took place at the Community Planning Partnership Management Committee on 17th June 2015. It was noted that ensuring good communication and feedback between the Bute and Cowal Area Community Planning Group and the CCP management committee plays an integral role in ensuring that the process works.
Decision
1. The Group noted the report.

Minutes:
The Area Governance Manager took the Group through a report which provided feedback on the discussions that took place at the Community Planning Partnership Management Committee on 27th March 2015.
A discussion took place between the Members of the group regarding the current Broadband situation and the proposed new installations within the Bute and Cowal Area.
It was noted that the Group expressed concern regarding the uncertainty of Broadband connectivity in rural areas.
Decision
1. The Group noted the report.
2. An Invitation to be sent to BT asking them to attend the August meeting.
3. A Letter to be drafted to BT from the Bute and Cowal Area Community Planning Group expressing concerns over rural broadband connectivity, in particuarly in remote rural areas.
