The Chair discussed the former uncertainly around the role of the MAP in relation to the Community Planning Partnership (CPP), and confirmed that the MAP had been confirmed as a strategic partner of the CPP. Sandy spoke to the potential for the MAP to make a substantial contribution to Community Planning and asked members to look to a new approach, in which the group would focus on strategic issues for the Mid Argyll community. Cllr Taylor indicated that he had in mind the need to expand membership of the MAP to include businesses and third sector representation. It was agreed that the original terms of reference would be circulated for members for their information and comment as part of the ongoing development of the partnership group.
