Issue - meetings

The group gave consideration to an update from Sarah Davies, Helensburgh Community Council. The update provided information on the current position in relation to the submission of a bid for the Waterfront; the Pier Regeneration Project; the provision of warm spaces and the petition to the Scottish Government to prioritise local participation in planning decisions.

Sarah advised that following the sad passing of the Convenor Norman Muir, the Vice-Convenor Peter Brown has been acting as Convenor and that the Community Council will elect a new Convenor at the May AGM.

Sarah reminded the group that the Community Council meetings are public and open to all.

Decision

The Helensburgh and Lomond Area Community Planning Group considered and noted the information provided.
