Issue - meetings

The Group considered a written update from Transport Scotland which provided information around scheduled trunk road projects including the installation of solar powered bollards at all minor road junctions between Balloch and Tarbet; the installation of bend warning signs and chevrons at Inveruglas; and scheduled resurfacing projects in the vicinity of Luss and between Tarbet and Crianlarich.

Angela Anderson requested that the Group be updated on the progress of the new road layout proposals between Tarbet and Inverarnan.

Duncan MacLachlan advised that previous overnight resurfacing works between Arrochar and Tarbet had worked very well, despite challenges due to a fractured water pipe.

Decision

The Helensburgh and Lomond Area Community Planning Group

1. considered and noted the information provided; and

2. noted that in the absence of a representative from Transport Scotland, any questions would be forwarded to them for a response following the meeting.
