The Council gave consideration to a report providing an overview of the Council’s Unaudited Annual Accounts and the annual accounts for the Charitable Trusts administered by the Council for the year ended 31 March 2026.

Decision

The Council –

1.     noted that the Council’s Unaudited Annual Accounts and the annual accounts for the Charitable Trusts for the year ended 31 March 2026 would be considered by the Audit and Scrutiny Committee on 26 June 2026; and

2.     agreed that the Section 95 Officer would submit the Annual Accounts to the auditor by the statutory deadline of 30 June 2026 subject to approval by the Audit and Scrutiny Committee.
