The Committee gave consideration to a report presenting an initial assessment of potential financial and operational risks that could impact the Council as a result of the ongoing conflict in Iran and the broader Arabian Gulf region.

Decision

The Policy and Resources Committee –

1.    noted the contents of the submitted report; and

2.    agree that Financial Services would monitor the position on an ongoing basis, providing further updates during 2026-27 through the routine financial monitoring reporting.
