\n\t\t\t\t\u2018Being a registrar in Argyll and Bute is more than just a job\u2014it\u2019s a true honour. Since 1997, I\u2019ve had the privilege of helping couples celebrate one of the most important days of their lives. Every ceremony is unique, and to know I\u2019ve played a small part in creating lasting memories for so many families is incredibly special. I\u2019ve met countless wonderful couples over the years\u2014some even pop in to say hello when they\u2019re back in Campbeltown on holiday, which always makes my day.\n\nI'm obsessed with all things weddings and always on the lookout for fresh, creative trends\u2014my current favourite is the flower boys! They're stealing the show!\n\nI\u2019m a proud mum to two grown-up daughters and happily married. We've had dogs in our lives over the years, and they\u2019ve always brought so much joy. That\u2019s why dogs are more than welcome at my ceremonies\u2014they\u2019re family too.\u00a0 When I\u2019m not officiating weddings, I love to spend time baking and sharing homemade treats with friends and family.\n\nOver the years, I\u2019ve seen so many positive changes in the role\u2014from outdoor ceremonies and same-sex marriages to the option of remote registrations, which has made life so much easier for many families. Every step forward reflects the joy and inclusivity that this job is all about. And after all these years, I still love every minute.'\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Answering countless emails, printing out selected poems for Guide Parents and meeting with us to make sure the ceremony was planned exactly as we wanted. Julie was so professional yet managed to speak with such heartful emotion during the ceremony. It really meant the world to us and made the whole experience so special and personal. We loved the idea of a Naming Ceremony - being able to show our appreciation to the important people in our children's lives in a non religious way.
