Known locally as Loch Awe Boathouse, it stands in six acres of secluded, south-facing grounds with loch frontage and is reached by about a mile of meandering private track (some potholes and not suitable for low suspension vehicles) which will bring you to this haven of peace and tranquillity.<\/p>

A hunting lodge stood on this site for several centuries until 1954. The current property is an architect-designed, expertly refurbished and most comfortable house, quite alone in its stunning lochside situation.<\/p>

It is surrounded by lawned gardens and mature wooded areas and is sheltered by a variety of magnificent trees. There is parking alongside the house, which also has its own private pier, slipway and fishing rights. There is also access to a Canadian canoe, a kayak or a paddle board by arrangement. As you would expect in such a location there is an abundance of wildlife here, including deer, pine marten, red squirrels and otters and an even greater variety of birds, including barn owls and osprey.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
