If witnesses are being provided for you please write this on the form.<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.argyll-bute.gov.uk\/marriage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Additional-Marriage-Information-January-2020.pdf\"><strong>Download Additional Information and Witness Details<\/strong><\/a><\/li><\/ul><h2>Declaration Status by Non UK Nationals<\/h2><p>Anyone who is not a British Citizen will need to complete this form and submit along with your notice to civil partnership (CP10). The Registrar will be unable to accept your notice to civil partnership without this form being completed.\u00a0 You may also be required to provide passport size photographs for both parties of the civil partnership.\u00a0 You should be aware that if you do not have the appropriate immigration status or the relevant visa for a civil partnership in the United Kingdom, your proposed civil partnership will be referred to the Home Office for investigation, which can result in a delay in your civil partnership taking place.\u00a0 If you are unsure if you are subject to immigration control please speak to your Registrar who can advise or contact the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/uk-visas-and-immigration\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/uk-visas-and-immigration\">Home Office<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If this applies to you please see the Home Office <a href=\"http:\/\/www.argyll-bute.gov.uk\/marriage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/HO-Leaflet-Refer.pdf\" data-cke-saved-href=\"\/marriage\/sites\/default\/files\/HO%20Leaflet%20Refer.pdf\">leaflet<\/a> for more information about\u00a0the referral and investigation scheme.<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.argyll-bute.gov.uk\/marriage\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Declaration-of-Status-by-Non-UK-Nationals-Form-v2.0-November-2025.pdf\"><strong>Download Declaration Status by Non UK Nationals form<\/strong><\/a><\/li><\/ul><h2>Provide proof of EU Settlement Scheme<\/h2><p>To provide proof of your EU Settlement Schemen (EUSS) you will need to provide a check code to the Registrar, this can either be done by emailing the code\u00a0direct to the Registrar through the system\u00a0or sending a note of the check code.\u00a0 This must be provided when submitting your CP10 forms.\u00a0 If you are unable to provide proof of your EUSS then you\u00a0civil partnership\u00a0may be referred to the Home Office before it can take place.\u00a0 Please note a screen shot of your status is <u>not <\/u>acceptable.<\/p><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/view-prove-immigration-status\"><strong>View and prove your EU Settlement Status (gov.uk)<\/strong><\/a><\/li><\/ul><h2>Foreign Divorce Questionnaire<\/h2><p>If you have had a divorce that has taken place outwith the United Kingdom you may be required to complete this additional information regarding your divorce.
